RACE INFORMATION:
The 26th Annual Great Raisin River Footrace is one of Eastern Ontario's
most historic running events in one of Canada's most historic towns.
Come with the family and enjoy the oldest annual fair in Canada -
The Williamstown Fair. Join hundreds of others on the scenic banks
of the Great Raisin River.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
All runs start on the Fairgrounds, beside the
‘Meeting Place’. The 11 km is a scenic, flat, tree covered (well,
at least the second half) run on a country road. It runs along both
sides of the river and finishes back in the Fairgrounds. Kids fun
run: There will be a 150 metre fun run for children under 12 years
of age. Kids will receive a ribbon and an iron-on race logo. Free!

- 7:00-8:30 am Race Kit Pickup and Late Registration, Char-Lan District High School, Williamstown
- 8:45 am Kids fun run
- 9:00 am Start
- 10:00 am Food and Refreshments
- 11:00 am Awards and draw prizes on the Fair Ground at Meeting Place.

CHARITY – KIDS CAN FREE THE CHILDREN
This year, the race will be run in support of “Kids Can Free the
Children” (KCFTC), the largest network of children helping children
in the world with over 100,000 youth involved in more than 35 countries.
Char-Lan & District High School in Williamstown has a very active
chapter that was responsible for recent construction of a school
in a remote village in Ecuador. Tax receipts will be issued for
donations of $10 or more.
