YOUCAN
YOUCAN is Canada's leading
for-youth-by-youth organization, focused on the areas of peace-building
and conflict resolution. The organization has affected hundreds of youth
in the Edmonton area through its workshops, conferences, and one-day forums.
Currently, YOUCAN is focused on training youth through its Peacebuilders
Program. This series of trainings gives youth the knowledge and resources
they need to effectively resolve everyday conflicts, like bullying and racism
in their schools and communities.

LOCATION
Start:
Site #7, Sir Wilfred Laurier Park
134 Street - Buena Vista Road
(adjacent to the Valley Zoo)
Route:
8 km Run: The 8 km run winds through Edmonton's River Valley into Hawrelak Park. The route doubles back on itself, and a pace-setter will lead the way. A race clock will be provided, but runners are not individually timed.
3 km Walk: The scenic walking course extends through the Laurier Park area. It's also a wonderful way to involve your family and friends in supporting a great community cause!
