Race proceeds benefit the Youth Emergency Shelter Society (YESS).

Since Y.E.S.S. opened in 1982, over 19,000 young people and many families in crisis have been served. YESS offers various programs which “give youth at risk a chance”. The three residential programs and the community enhancement program provide kids with not only the basic needs such as a safe place to stay, nutritious food to eat and warm clothes to wear but counseling, family mediation, personal development and life skills, as well. But most important of all, YESS provides a listening ear and the stepping stones to a successful future.
