Event Description:
Upon arrival at the event each child will receive a passport that will be stamped by participating in their choice of the following events:
- 1K Run/Walk around the scenic Nepean bike path.
- Indoor Shows, Fitness Stations, Wellness Experts
- Silent Auction & Raffle
- Each stamp represents one kilometer. Prizes will be given for each passport with 5 stamps or more.

Blast Off Power Booster!
- Kids can power boost their results by beginning their fitness log anytime
- Kids can do blocks of fitness including any sports and or walking for a period of 30minutes which equals 1K each.
- Do 9 blocks before Blast off and finish the last block by doing the 1K family walk /run with us!
- Each child can do their personal best whether it is 1K or more than 10Ks before the event.
- The more each child does the more money we raise for our charity Children At Risk!
- Each child's weekly total is charted on your downloaded 10 Week 10K Log. Download log now (Click Here) OR you can connect to www.blastoffkids.ca site for download
- Don't forget to bring your completed 10 Week 10K log to Blast off Event Day!

You can begin anytime you want and or join us in the 10 week countdown beginning Tuesday July 27,2010. Have fun on your holidays and track your fitness!

- All kilometres will be entered into our group flight into outer space to reach the planets! The total number of kilometers accumulated over the 10 Week period and on Blast Off Day increases the funds raised. Help us reach our challenge goal of 3000 total kilometers!Each participant receives a souvenir T-shirt, an online certificate of participation and a chance to win prizes.Mom, Dad or Grandparents are invited to " jog along" ( at no cost) with those under 9 years of age to keep them company. Baby joggers are welcome which will start behind the runners.
