NEW: Kid's Fun Run for G.A.P.
What: A short run, less than a kilometre to Heritage Park and back.
When: 8:45 (immediately after the 5K Start)
Where: City Hall Start/Finish Line
Why: To support the Grocery Assistance Program, Barrie's Second Food Bank
Cost: An item of non-perishable food, or cash donation to G.A.P.

Bag Check:
There will be a bag check at the Start/Finish area. Cost is a non-perishable food item or $2. All proceeds go to the Grocery Assistance Program. Bag check will take the bottom of your race bib, and you require your bib at the end to receive your bag back.

Event Start Times:

  • 8:30 am – Half Marathon & Half Marathon Relay
  • 8:45 am – 5K

Half Marathon Two-Person Relay:

  • Teams of two will run the Half Marathon course, with each person taking one half of the route. The first person takes the South route, returning to the Start/Finish/Exchange location. Before crossing the timing mat at the halfway point, there will be a place on the side of the path where teammates are to exchange chips. Quickly take off your ankle strap, and allow your partner to put it on. That second partner will cross the line, starting their half of the relay.

  • Second Relay Participant:
    The second person, who will be running the second half, is required to meet at the Barrie Public Library no later than 8:15. Participants will be bussed out to the exchange location at Southshore Centre. For a map to the library, click here

5K:

Course Route/Elevation Chart:

  • Please click here for a map of the route. The Relay takes part on the same route, with the exchange occuring at 10.5K at South Shore Centre. The 5K follows the first 2.5K, turning around and returning to the finish.

Water/Aid Stations:

  • Water and Gatorade will be served on course, approximately every 2-3K along the Half Marathon route.

Shirts:

  • All all runners and walkers receive a BROOKS shirt.
  • Men's and Women's shirt sizes: S, M, L, XL

2. Fill out your information on the registration form. Make sure to include your proper email address!
3. Use your credit card to pay your registration fee! Transactions processed securely.
4. You will receive a confirmation Email, outlining your application and payment details.
5. Check the on-line confirmation list above.
6. If there are any questions about your online registration please click on the contact us link to communicate with the race director.
All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry fee does not include processing fee.
