About the Run/Walk
Each year for the past 78 years, the Town
Albert has hosted the Mount Albert Sports Day and
Spring Fair. This is a fun filled weekend, featuring
everything small town fairs have to offer.
Last year, for the first time, the fair included a 5 km
run/walk. Given the unqualified success of the
event, we’re doing it again this year. This Ontario
Track and Field Association (O.T.F.A.) certified
course winds its way through a safe, scenic route in
Mount Albert. The course is fully marshalled, with a
water station provided at the halfway mark. Official
timing is provided by RRResults.
There is something in the event for everyone. It caters
to children and adult runners, joggers and walkers.
Come out, run/walk and enjoy the fun. Fun fair
activities follow the event. Bring your friends and
family, participate and enjoy a day at the fair.
Where Do Profits Go?
This is a non-profit event with all revenue
exceeding cost going directly into the Mount Albert Community
