2. Will there be pacers or pace bunnies?
Yes, pace bunnies will be on the half marathon and marathon course.
3. Can I register on race day?
No, sorry.
4. Can I pick up my race package on race day?
No, sorry.
5. How many water stations are on course?
There are fourteen company-sponsored water stations approximately every 3 km on the marathon course. Water, Gatorade, sponges, and toilets will be available at all water stations. Mixed flavors of PowerGels will be located at two locations on the marathon course, these locations to be confirmed closer to race day.
6. Can I walk the course?
Walkers are invited and encouraged to participate in all events. Marathon walkers not able to meet the 12:30 pm course closure are asked to start at 6:00 am.
7. Is the course certified?
The Calgary Marathon is certified by AIMS (Association of International Marathon Socitey) and by Athletics Canada and can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
9. Where should I park?
We encourage you to park downtown and walk to Mewata Armoury.
10. What is there to do after the race?
Join us for our post-race breakfast and on-site entertainment.
11. How many people are expected to participate this year.
We are expecting between 7,000 participants for the 2005 BURNCO Caglaray Marathon.
12. Is the 2005 event full?
No there is still plenty of room.

Of course, bring your chip to the Fitness Expo and visit Race Headquarters, they'll be happy to arrange.
