- Can I fundraise for a charity for this event?
Absolutely! We work with both the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation as well as the MS Society however we're open to working with any official charity.
- How much do I need to fundraise?
You'll need to fundraise roughly three times the cost of your package to meet Canadian law.
- When do I have to have my fundraising completed by?
As we understand that it takes time to fundraise, the deadline to raise the full amount won't be until one month prior to departure.
- What's the course like?
Amazing, in a word. All events take place on paved roads that wind around Angkor Wat and many other temples. The road is tree-lined which provides nice shading. Water stations are every 2KM and there are also electrolyte and fruit stations. You'll also most-likely see monkeys, elephants and other wildlife.
- Do I have to book my own airfare?

- Are there transfers from the airport to the hotel?
Yes
- Are these prices in CAD or USD?
US Dollars.
- Is Cambodia safe?
Cambodia is very safe but as always, exercise caution and pay attention to your surroundings. Leave valuables at home or in the hotel room safe. Flashing money or jewerly anywhere is not a good idea.
- What's the food like?
Cambodian food is quite tasty and focuses on rice, meat, vegetables and fruit. It's also easy to find Western cuisine and Chinese food.
- Is Cambodia expensive?
Cambodia is anything but expensive. You can purchase a real fruit smoothie for $1, a full body massage from $2, a draft beer for $.050, a full meal for $2.
- What currency do they use?
The local currency is called the Riel but the US Dollar is widely used.
- What's the weather like?
Average temperatures in Cambodia around this time of year are 21-30 degrees Celsius (night time low to day time high). Expect dry, sunny days but the course is nicely shaded.
- I'm traveling solo – can you assist me with finding a roommate to save money?
