Sleep in or get up early and go for a jog, either way this morning is your free time.
In the afternoon you will be picked up for lunch. After lunch you'll enjoy a half day tour that includes a trip to the Royal Place, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town. You'll also visit the Silver Pagoda, Raung and Damrei Museum.
The Palace building and Silver Pagoda are located with in the same walled ground. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilos and a small, 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha.
Afterwards, you'll be off to the National Museum of Fine Arts, next to the Royal Place, which was dedicated by King Sisowath in 1920. Over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas and other artifacts, most notabley the legentary statue of the "Leper King". Though the emphasis is on Angkorian artifacts, there is also a good collection of pieces from later periods, including a special exhibition of post-Angkorian Buddha figures.
Next you'll visit Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) which marks the legendary founding place of Phnom Penh.
Dinner will be served at local restaurant.

Remarks: The Royal Palace grounds in Phnom Penh are opened to the public except when the King is in residence and in an event of special ceremony.
Aug 3 (B, L, D included)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a private transfer overland from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap province. Your first stop will be at the Skun Market known for big spiders. Afterwards, you'll visit the Angkorian temple of Wat Norkor Bachey (12th century) and discover the temples of Phnom Bros and Phnom Srey, located at Kro La Commune in the Kampong Siem District which is seven kilometers from the provincial town of Kampong Cham.
The pagoda of Phnom Pros is officially named "What Sovan Kiri Rotanak Phnom Pros". One KM to the North there is another mountain which has a pointed peak called "Phnom Srey". North of the Phnom Srey, there are ranks of mountains such as mountains of Dang Rek, Ba Ley and Chhuk. In addition, at the top of Pros Mountain we can view the stunning scenery of Kampong Cham province.
From 1975-1979, the mountain of Pros was used by the Khmer Rouge as a detention place for torturing Cambodian people living in Kampong Cham province. The mountain of Srey has pointed peak and can be climbed up by 308 Stair steps. We'll then continue on the road to Kompong Thom by crossing Skun "Spider Village". The town is well-known for selling deep-fried spiders to travelers who stop by on their way. Do you have what it takes to try one?
Lunch will be served in Kompong Thom, afterwards you'll continue on to Siem Reap.

After breakfast at the hotel, your tour guide and driver will pick you up to check out the course. You'll be able to choose between 9AM and 10:30AM. (Angkor Wat temple, Basie Chamrong,South gate of Angkor Thom,Bayon,Takeo, Srah Srang,Ta Prohm,Banteay Kdei, Prasat Kravan and many ancient temple).
After lunch at local restaurant, you will visit the Old Market where you can see the fresh local produce being sold as well as browse the souvenir stalls .
Transfer back to hotel for the Angkor Wat Int'l Half Marathon Eve Party which will start at 6:30PM and will go until 8:30PM at the Apsara Angkor Resort & Conference. You will be treated to a traditional Khmer Dance show. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Aug 5 (B, L, D included) Race Day
You will receive a breakfast box to go as you'll have an early morning departure from the hotel in order to arrive at the Start Line 30 minutes prior to the official start.
After the race you will be picked up in front of the Angkor Wat temple.

After the race you will be treated to a relaxing 60 minute Khmer traditional massage. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Aug 6 (B, L, D included)
This morning you will have free time to recover from the race.
In the afternoon you will be picked up for lunch. After lunch you will enjoy a tour Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples.
Visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees, then move on to an extensive tour of the magnificent World Heritage site of Angkor Wat & Visit Rolous Group of Temples, namely Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lo Lei. Afterwards you'll be driven to Prolung Khmer, a Pottery and weaving center. Then you will take a boat trip & enjoy the wonderful views of Tonle Sap the largest Lake in Asia. Visit the local fishing communities and experience the floating village. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Aug 7 (B, L, D included)
Today is a full day tour where you will visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century) and the Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), Baphun temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King and Thommanon, a small, attractive temple in very good condition, built at the same time as Angkor Wat.
The Angkor Wat style is most easily seen in the style of the towers and carved devatas. Chau Say Tevoda is a small temple of similar design and floor plan to that of Thommanon which was restored back in the 1960's. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Aug 8 (B, L, D included)
After breakfast you will be transferred back to Phnom Penh via private vehicle. If there's time we recommend you check out the Killing Fields. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Aug 9 (Breakfast included)
Today you are free until tour guide and driver will transfer you back to the Phnom Penh International airport.
