  • Age for Youth - 17 and under.

  • The team captain must sign the whole team up at the same time,
  • Once the team is entered, additional members can not be added.
  • Minimum of 3 people, up to 12.
  • Additional fee per team member starts at member # 4

Optional Race T-Shirts

  • Mens and Female T-shirts: $ 5.00
  • Youth T-Shirts: $ 4.00
  • After organizing so many events and ordering thousands and thousands of t-shirts, we want to try and minimize waste in our 2019 Wakefield Covered Bridge Run and shirts will ONLY BE ORDERED ON DEMAND. They will cost $5 extra for adult male and female shirts, and $4 for youth. NOTE: This does not cover the full cost of t-shirts, but we want to only order shirts for people who will wear them and charging a small fee will help implement this. Charging this small fee will help cover costs and the event will be able to raise more funds for charity without a HUGE chunk of it going to t-shirts, that not everyone wears. We are aware this is a big change for this event for our always returning participants, but we appreciate your understanding on this change that we believe is necessary. See you on May 4th!

  • The Wakefield Covered Bridge Run is committed to raising funds for local charities like the Wakefield Recreation Association, Sentier Wakefield Trails, and Wakefield Community Emergency Fund whose mandates support the health and well-being of youth and all in our community. The WRA is responsible for the management and maintenance of the outdoor sportspad at the Wakefield Community Centre where people gather to practice their favourite sports activities and stay active. The Sentiers Wakefield Trails supports the maintenance and creation of recreational trails throughout the community and the WCEF supports our community through organized events to help out people in urgent need.

  4. You will receive a confirmation Email, outlining your application and payment details.
  5. Check the on-line confirmation list above.
  • All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Entry fee does not include processing fee .

Many of our events are affiliated with a charity. Supporting a charity has never been easier!

It's Simple! If you are registering for an event that is associated with a Charity there will be a Donations tab on the top of the race page. All you need to do is go to the Donations tab and select Raise funds to set up your fundraising page. Once you set up a new Fundraising account or login with your existing profile you are ready to solicit your friends and family members to support you! All the resources you need to set your donation goals, solicit donation, and track funds are on your donations dashboard.
