As you know, the Light It Up Calgary Run/Walk has been rescheduled. Because your safety remains our priority, this year’s event will be virtual. We invite you to run or walk anytime between September 11th and September 19th. Make it your own! Run at night or during the day, dress up if you like, invite people in your pod to join in, celebrate someone in your life who is making their way through cancer. Tag us and tell us why you are running or walking.

Registration is open and we encourage you to invite others to join us. We will still have the incredible prizes that the Light It Up Calgary run/walk has become known for including all of our amazing door prizes and the Kevin Kaminski Top Fundraiser prize. All participants and volunteers will still receive their high quality wicking t-shirt at kit pick-up. We still welcome your efforts to fundraise, in fact, Wellspring Calgary needs you more than ever (and we thank you for taking part)! Most importantly, you are guaranteed to making a difference in the lives of thousands who are living with cancer in our community. What could be better than that?

  • Team Captain registers first and Creates a Team Name.
    Team Captain sends a link with the team name / password to others who want to join in on their team.

Wellspring Calgary devotes itself exclusively to the unique non-medical needs that cancer presents. Wellspring Calgary has delivered over 40,000 hours of diverse programs in 2019, to meet the needs of those we serve, embracing our vision to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone. To do this, we design and collaborate with community partners to provide programs, services and resources to those living with cancer throughout southern Alberta. When you donate to Wellspring Calgary, you support adults living with cancer, their caregivers and families in Southern Alberta.

Participants can set up a fundraising page through your Running Room account, after you have registered for the Run
All you need to do is go to the Donate tab (at the top of this page) and select Raise Funds to set up your fundraising page.

Donors can make a donation to the charity or search for Participants and Teams who have set up Fundraising pages.
Select the Fundraising tab and select make a donation to search and athelete / or support directly to the charity, or you can go to the Pledge Participants or Team tab to search or view their fundraising pages.

How to Register view more ▶

  1. Choose your event! Click on the registration link to go to the secure registration page
  2. Fill out your information on the registration form. Make sure to include your proper email address!
  3. Use your credit card to pay your registration fee! Transactions processed securely.
  4. You will receive a confirmation Email, outlining your application and payment details.
  5. Check the on-line confirmation list above.
  • All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Entry fee does not include processing fee .

Many of our events are affiliated with a charity. Supporting a charity has never been easier!

It's Simple! If you are registering for an event that is associated with a Charity there will be a Donations tab on the top of the race page. All you need to do is go to the Donations tab and select Raise funds to set up your fundraising page. Once you set up a new Fundraising account or login with your existing profile you are ready to solicit your friends and family members to support you! All the resources you need to set your donation goals, solicit donation, and track funds are on your donations dashboard.

The Athlete Dashboard is a new feature when you set up a member login and password and its Free.

The Athlete Dashboard allows you to view everything related to your events on one page; race registration information on all your events, results tracking for all your events, notice of photos for your events and charitable fundraising tracking.
