Virtual Remembrance Day / Juno Beach event
Participate between August 9th and Saturday November 28, 2020 / Burlington ON
You may run or walk it anytime between August 9th and November 28th.
Fee includes postal charge, medal, and bib!
$10 from each registration will be donated to the Juno Beach Centre Association.
The Juno Beach Centre Association owns and operates the Juno Beach Centre, Canada’s Second World War museum and cultural centre on the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy, France. The Juno Beach Centre (JBC) pays homage to the 45,000 Canadians who lost their lives during the War. Opened in 2003 by veterans and volunteers with a vision to create a permanent memorial to all Canadians who served during the Second World War, the Centre’s mandate is to preserve this legacy for future generations through education and remembrance. Today, the JBC stands as Canada’s primary Second World War site of memory in Europe.
Applicants can set up a fundraising page through your Running Room account, after you have registered for the Run
All you need to do is go to the Fundraising tab (at the top of the registration page) and select Raise Funds to set up your fundraising page.
$1,000 raised earns one Canadian flag flown at Juno Beach
Visitors are filled with pride when they see the Canadian flag flapping in the breeze above the sands of Juno Beach. Own a symbol of Canadian pride and courage by raising $1,000 or more for the Juno Beach Centre!

1500m, 8k, half marathon participants recieve a finishers medal and can choose between a mask or neck gaitor when they register.

We will mail or send them out to you in 6 weeks and you may run or walk it anytime between August 9th and November 28th.
Once you have completed your run, send confirmation of 5k or 10k by screen shot, photo or Strava,

I have run my virtual race...now what do I do?
Please submit your results for your virtual race to firstname.lastname@example.orgThey will be posted within a few days on SpeedRiverTiming.com with a link to your finisher's certificate. Include in the email, which race you have run, how you timed and measured your run/walk and, of course, your time.
If you register on RunSignUp.com, you will have access to a free app called Race Joy, that will follow you on your virtual run and cheer for you at each kilometer, as well as report your time automatically into the results. If you have signed up on another site and wish to use RaceJoy, please contact email@example.com

- Choose your event! Click on the registration link to go to the secure registration page
- Fill out your information on the registration form. Make sure to include your proper email address!
- Use your credit card to pay your registration fee! Transactions processed securely.
- You will receive a confirmation Email, outlining your application and payment details.
- Check the on-line confirmation list above.
- All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Entry fee does not include processing fee .

It's Simple! If you are registering for an event that is associated with a Charity there will be a Donations tab on the top of the race page. All you need to do is go to the Donations tab and select Raise funds to set up your fundraising page. Once you set up a new Fundraising account or login with your existing profile you are ready to solicit your friends and family members to support you! All the resources you need to set your donation goals, solicit donation, and track funds are on your donations dashboard.
