The Virtual Solstice 5K is back bigger than ever for 2023.
Celebrate the long days of summer with us virtually and race against the sunset!
All participants will receive a pair of HOKA Clifton 8 shoes and a finisher medal!
Shoe sizes are limited! Register early to avoid disappointment!
Check the time of sunset in your local area and start your run based on how long it takes you to run a 5K.
Example: Sunset: 9:37pm. It takes you 47 minutes to run a 5K. Start at 8:50pm.
This is a fun run and results will not need to be submitted.

How to Register:
Register early to guarantee your shoe size. Sizing is limited and the event is capped. A sell out is expected!
- Select your home province to register. Canadian Residents Only.
- Western Provinces - British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, North West Territories, and Yukon Residence
- Ontario Residence
- Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland Residence
- Quebec Residence
When registering, you will get to choose your closest Running Room location to pick up your package for free. If you would like your race kit directly mailed to you, please select the $9.99 home delivery option at checkout and we will mail your kit to you.
Race Kit Pickup:
- Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic residents
- If you have registered before June 5th:
- In Store Pick Up Dates: Tuesday June 20th to Friday June 29th during store hours at the Running Room Store location you chose. If you chose Direct to Home Shipping, your packages will arrive in mid-June.
- Registrations after June 5th only have the option to have the package shipped directly to their home address. $9.99 will be added at check out.
- BC, AB, SK, MB residents
- If you have registered before June 5th:
- In Store Pick Up Dates: Tuesday June 20th to Friday June 29th during store hours at the Running Room Store location you chose. If you chose Direct to Home Shipping, your packages will arrive in mid-June.
- Registrations after June 12th only have the option to have the package shipped directly to their home address. $9.99 will be added at check out.

- Fill out your information on the registration form. Make sure to include your proper email address!
- Use your credit card to pay your registration fee! Transactions processed securely.
- You will receive a confirmation Email, outlining your application and payment details.

It's Simple! If you are registering for an event that is associated with a Charity there will be a Donations tab on the top of the race page. All you need to do is go to the Donations tab and select Raise funds to set up your fundraising page.
