Mizuno Midsummer 5k

The 4th annual Mizuno Midsummer's night 5k is run on the paths and roads in and around Goldbar Park (not Goldstick Park!). The course is slightly rolling with a couple of smaller hills and is completely run on pavement or hard paths. This race will also be the Athletics Alberta 5km provincial road race championships. Proceeds from this event go to support the Concordia Thunder XC and Indoor track teams.

Prizes and Awards
- Great prizes for the top 3 finishers in each group (0-19, 20-39, 40-49 and 50+) and cash prizes for the top 3 overall finishers:
- 1st place = $200
- 2nd place = $100
- 3rd place = $50
- *$100 bonus for breaking the course records:
- Ladies: 17:11 (Emily Setlack, 2014)
- Men: 15:21 (Andrew Bysice 2014)
