Limited Live / Physical Event:
This is a live event. This is subject to Public Health Orders that are in effect on race day. The model we have constructed in consultation with authorities require outdoor cohorts of 50 to be permitted. In the event that the Health Orders prohibit the event, a kit pick up will still be held for medals, shirt and finisher gift. There no refunds. There are no transfers. This is a much smaller event and will be very different than our traditional events, with only a few hundred spots for each of the 5K and Half Marathon. There is NO 2 Person Relay.
The 5k will take place at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday May 1, 2021.
The Half will take place at 7:30 A.M. on Sunday May 2, 2021.
The corral model being used is very rigid and start times will be based on projected finish time. There is no mass start. There is no seating/warming areas. The start will be in smaller waves; with all runners having a separation space at the start of their race. You will not know your start time until kit pick up; it will be between 6-7 pm for the 5K and between 0730-0830 for the Half. Details to follow at Kit Pick Up. There will be a space for dry clothing. There will be only 1 aid station for the Half and no aid stations for the 5k. There will be pre packaged food at the finish line of both events.
Organizers are always trying to have an alternative plan and we have one. It would include having open periods of time where the course is open to set groups to start at their leisure. This is not our primary plan and details will come closer to race day. In the interest of having the data to support though, you will be asked to chose your desired start time as part of the registration process. IF you have already signed up prior to this change-we will contact you via email to gather those details.
Due to smaller size, we expect participants to arrive less than 10 minutes prior to their respective starts and participants will be encouraged to leave the grounds upon completion. Again, full details will be provided at kit pick up!
PLEASE READ THIS. COVID has made races very difficult to host. The Foodfare-WPS Half is offering a very limited race at less than 20% of traditional race day capacity. There is a risk it will not be permitted. It is a risk for the volunteer team and it is a risk for you. Please be aware, that IF the event can not proceed, there are no refunds, but at kit pick up you will get your medal, shirt and gift-in fact this will be provided in advance even if we proceed. You are getting one of only a few hundred spots to what may be the first event of the spring after a long year. Lets see what happens, but we want you fully informed! If that is not acceptable, then this is not the time yet for you to sign up.
This is for applicants who are interested in participating on their own time and posting results on our Facebook page at your choosing. There is no kit pick up for this event. Applicants will have their race medal mailed out to them to the address given during the registration process-included in the race fees. Applicants from outside Canada please select the $10 shipping option in order to receive your medal.
NOTE: There is NO participant shirt for the Virtual event.

- Fill out your information on the registration form. Make sure to include your proper email address!
- Use your credit card to pay your registration fee! Transactions processed securely.
- You will receive a confirmation Email, outlining your application and payment details.
- Check the on-line confirmation list above.
- All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Entry fee does not include processing fee .

Many of our events are affiliated with a charity. Supporting a charity has never been easier!
It's Simple! If you are registering for an event that is associated with a Charity there will be a Donations tab on the top of the race page. All you need to do is go to the Donations tab and select Raise funds to set up your fundraising page. Once you set up a new Fundraising account or login with your existing profile you are ready to solicit your friends and family members to support you! All the resources you need to set your donation goals, solicit donation, and track funds are on your donations dashboard.
