About the Paul Davis Systems Pasta Party Guest Speakers

John Stanton is founder of the Running Room and author of five books on running. He has run over 60 marathons and coached over 500,000 people to run distances from the beginner to the marathon runner with his 10:1 run walk system. Hear his pre-race advice on the "full" half marathon.

Prior to running, Joanne Shields had a serious weight problem and had dieted her entire life. She lost over 100 lbs, but that is just the beginning of her remarkable story. Her husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer, her father passed away with lung cancer, her brother in-law died from Leukemia and her mother was killed by a drunk driver, all within her short running career and yet she continued to run - and with a huge smile and incredible attitude. To date she has completed 20 marathons, six Ironman Distance Triathlons and many other races. Come hear her inspirational story.

Mark Sullivan has completed over 118 marathons with an average time under 3 hours, including 20 consecutive Boston Marathons! Although, Mark will run as many as 4 marathons within the same month, he never suffers from overuse injuries. Mark will share with you, some of his specialized training methods which have helped him, and the athletes he coaches, stay injury-free.

Lee Scott, Founder, WoW Power Walking. Lee has been working professionally for more than 14 years as a group fitness leader, personal trainer, and power walking coach. Her unique WoW Power Walking program has transformed hundreds of people into walking athletes. She has been a featured expert in magazines, on television, and at fitness and health conferences. Recently, Lee released a new DVD Simple Secrets for a Great Walking Workout - a transformational approach to becoming a powerful and fit walker.
