- Start/finish location:
Maple Meadows West Coast Express train station parking lot, Dunn Avenue, Maple Ridge.
- Free parking:
Park & Ride parking lot, Maple Meadows station, Dunn Avenue, Maple Ridge
Meadowtown Shopping mall, off Maple Meadow Way, Maple Ridge.
- Run Route:
This 7km route will take the runners across the newly completed Golden Ears Bridge and back again giving every participant absolutely amazing views of the Fraser River with the valley and mountains in the background. Don’t miss out on this once in a life time opportunity to run across the actual bridge deck before it is officially opened to vehicles later in June.
All participants must be capable of running 7km as there will be no stopping on the bridge during the 7km fun run, due to time restrictions. The opening celebrations must be on time so unfortunately, walkers and or strollers will not be allowed in the run.
- GEB Completion Celebration:
11:00am – 4:00pm
On the main bridge deck above the Fraser River - fun activities for everyone.
Be there for the opening ceremonies of this fabulous new bridge across the mighty Fraser River and experience the fun and excitement for the opening of the new Golden Ears Bridge.
