The ING New York City Marathon is one of the most sought after running events on the planet! Due to the limitation on the amount of runners permitted to run each year, many have to wait as much as four years to make this dream a reality. But not you! The Running Room and Dream Travel are proud to bring you guaranteed entries into the 2012 ING New York City Marathon! You could be lining up on the Verrazano Narrows Bridge with 48,000 other runners, ready to take your landmark journey through all five boroughs of New York! All the while listening to the roar of 2.5 million live spectators cheer you onwards! This is your event! This is your year!

    Guaranteed entry along with the purchase of a tour package is available through Running Room Canada Inc. and Dream Travel. This package is restricted to Canadian full-time residents only. Non full-time Canadian residents must apply via a Tour Operator of their country.
    Any full-time Canadian resident who will be 18 or older on Saturday, November 3, 2012, may apply for entry (which must include 3 nights hotel at a minimum). Only one application per person; any fees processed due to individuals submitting duplicate applications are non-refundable.
    An initial deposit of $750 will be charged immediately using our on-line registration form. This is an initial deposit only and will come off of your package price. The balance payable no later than July 1 2012. This deposit is non-refundable without insurance. Lottery winners will receive their deposit back less the processing fee charged at time of deposit.
    The Running Room and Dream Travel will provide Entry only as part of a complete package which at minimum must include 3 nights hotel and may also include airfare and other touring arrangements. We will also collect a waiver from each participant to complete your package.
    If you are looking to share your accommodations and save some money, please indicate at the time of registration and we will guarantee a roommate of the same sex.
    After you apply we will post your name at and Dream Travel will contact you to complete your registration process via the email address you provided. You must complete and return the forms issued to you by Dream Travel before you are issued a guaranteed entry.
    You've made up your mind to run one of the greatest marathons on the planet and now you just need to get there! Take advantage of our partner UNIGLOBE GEO's group air rates from all cities in Canada, with no service fees! Just let us know on your application form and we'll have them send you options and prices.
    Protect yourself and your money by purchasing our Group Insurance. Due to the costs associated with this trip, and because you will not be traveling until November, we highly recommend purchasing our inexpensive travel insurance. With paid insurance you will be able to cancel for insurable reasons as well as running injuries! Insurance covers: Cancellation, Interruption, Medical and Baggage.     Please note that the insurance coverage that you may have with your credit card will not cover you completely.
    Each Runners package comes with guaranteed entry to the 2012 ING New York City Marathon (bus transportation to the Start Area), hotel, Dream Travel representatives on site to make your important weekend relaxing and stress free, and, our Dream Travel Goody Package. Air, insurance and additional nights in New York are available upon request.
    Insurance, airfare, meals, taxes and items of a personal nature are not included in your package.

All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry fee does not include processing fee.

Itís Simple! When you register for an event you will be prompted to set up a Free member login account. You can login when you enter the race or after registering. If you will be collecting donations for this event's charity, you have to be logged in to access the Donations tab. If you are not a member please sign up for a free account. Creating an account will allow you to customize personal home pages to begin tracking and soliciting donations for your favorite charities.
