Train Together - Walk Connected

An ideal program for those interested in Stress Management & Weight Loss. This fully integrated walking program enhances the benefits of walking and essentially turns walking into a workout.

The Running Room has developed a fully integrated walking program to enhance the benefits of walking and essentially turns walking into a workout! The Program is broken down into 3 levels, each level introducing a new technique that will make the walk more challenging. The three levels will also enable walkers of all levels to participate and enjoy the program.

Your registration includes: Run/Walk training, Group support, FREE technical running T-shirt, Personalized programs, Rewards memberships, FREE bi-monthly Running Room Magazine, Online training log and manuals, Online tech support and help pages, Run Club every Wednesday & Sunday.

Please note: You must be 16 years of age to participate. Youth between the ages of 16 and 18 can attend with a parent or guardian in attendance.


  • Walk Fitness »

    Turn your walking into a work out. This training program is broken down into several levels of increasing challenge. Walkers of all levels can participate and enjoy the program together.

  • Walk 5K »

    If your goal is to complete a 5K walking event this is the program for you. This training program builds on the Walking Fitness program and is broken down into four levels for increasing challenge.

  • Walk 10K »

    This program will help you get to your 10K walking event with several levels of increasing challenge. In this program you will be introduced to hill training and steady walks to build your training schedule.

  • Walk Half Marathon »

    If the half marathon is your walking goal, this program is for you. Choose from four training schedules to build on your 10K program and include hill training, steady walks and speed training to help you get to your finish line.

  • Walk Marathon »

    Prepare for your walk marathon event or just experience the training. Choose from several training schedules and include hill training and steady walks to build your program and reach your marathon goals.
